Our Story

Spreadspoke was born from a simple frustration: NFL data is everywhere, but clean historical data is nearly impossible to find. Most public records are fragmented, team names change (Raiders, Chargers, Rams), and weather data like wind speed and temperature is often missing from standard spreadsheets.

We built Spreadspoke to be the "source of truth" for the sports modeling community. Our mission is to provide the longitudinal data necessary to backtest strategies across different league regimes—from the "Dead Ball" 70s to the "Passing Boom" of the 2010s.

Every row in our dataset is curated with an eye toward data integrity. We don't just scrape scores; we verify the context that defined the game. Whether you are building a machine learning model or researching the impact of wind speed on point totals, our archive is built for your work.
